This issue is a loss of service to Kingston area - because you used to provide this station over analog Cable FM in the past, and dropped it, and never re-provided it again after your Cable FM shutdown, and after your Digital Migration in Kingston.īOO to YOU Cogeco Cable here in Kingston. I have driven this issue with you in person, and with complaints and trouble tickets up to almost the top of your organization.

I think 860 AM is CJBC-AM Toronto - is affiliate / re-broadcast of CBC FR 1 out of Montreal - ok - fine - but should also provide the "premium" CBC 2 Fr Excellent and Professional "Espace Musique" - which this thread mentions. 860 AM Toronto is mostly French News and Talk, not music. Instead, our Cable company, Cogeco Kingston, has decided to give us, 860 AM French out of Toronto, on a digital TV channel - which is NOT Espace Musique, NOT music. So in Kingston, we are just outside of the practical range in Kingston to receive it direct, over the air, with antenna. I'm guessing Brockville and maybe even Gananoque can pick it up. Also down the 416 (ex Kemptville)to the 401. I am mostly in Kingston now.īut I note, I can receive this station, over the air w/antenna, in the Car, up to about 40 KM from Kingston, on Hwy 15. Which I would listen to, over the air, when I was in Ottawa. Provided it previously on Cable FM (old Analog Cable FM - not so long ago )Īnd I have proof of that - I have, and I keep a hard copy printout of Cogego Kingston's old analog Cable FM list - as proof they used to provide it.ġ02.5 FM Ottawa, CBC 2 FR "Espace Musique", International, French, and Classical music - 24/7. Sure wish we could get it in Kingston - whatever they call it now.Įspace Musique - I found very good - liked it very much.Ĭable co here: Cogeco Kingston - Dropped it. We LOST Espace Musique in Kingston (COGECO)
